‘A New Dawn’
‘A New Dawn’ was captured early morning in Lake Clark, Alaska. It had taken numerous attempts to get into the back country by bush plane from Anchorage. The weather was abysmal, attempt after attempt was aborted over a three day period. We just couldn’t manage to punch through the weather and had to turn back. Then finally there was a break in the weather on our last attempt of the day and we managed to get to beautiful Lake Clark. These kind of expeditions are a little stressful, the clock is always ticking. They are extremely expensive and more often than not we come away with nothing but on this occasion things panned out and we managed to get some usable frames. We have to thank our good friend Mark Enarson for putting the expedition in motion!.
